Something Magical
I had a chance to go to the local Chinese Lantern Festival. It was there I became inspired by the designs created. This poem is written in the curtal sonnet format just like the “The Burning Pumpkin” poem I wrote last year. “Something Magical” is found under the “Poems/Art” tab and “The Burning Pumpkin” is found under the “Poems/Halloween & Fall” tab.

The Scarecrow
Now that autumn is here, so is the festivities that go along with it. In this poem, I chose the limerick format. Set in a time when a child had an interest in crafts, rather than television or computers, was what I intended. But it’s all up to you to interpret. Just look for “The Scarecrow’ under the “Poems/Halloween & Fall” tab.
