Public speaking is a fear that many people have. But if you believe in yourself, that you have a piece of art you wish to share, then take that leap onto the platform of being an orator. I have a lot of my poems memorized for that reason so that one day I will find the courage to read it, without having to look at my notes. This poem I wrote is called “Draw Back the Curtain” and it can be found under the “Poems/Writing” tab. I used the envelope quatrain format, which is a stanza in which the first and fourth lines rhyme and the middle two rhymes with each other.
