Presently, I look back at my years in school when every teacher depended on a paper weight. (Maybe they still do.) This poem called “The Paper Weight,” was written in the acrostic format and hints as to how technology has taken the “load” off the paper in the classroom. Not long ago, I posted a poem called “Lost Journal,” which mentions the future of “communicating our thoughts.” Both poems are found under the “Poems/Writing” tab.
