As human beings we try to improve our lives, such as making a “New Year’s Resolution.” I have come to see, that this phrase we use every year is a cliché. Instead we must treat a “New Year’s Resolution” as a seed, so by the time spring arises we will have a garden that blooms. In other words we need to act now. This poem “New Year’s Resolution” was written in the Nashers format and was created by Ogden Nash.
