You may recall that last year I posted a poem called “The Seaside Postcard,” written in the point of view from a parent at home, in which a mother learned how her adult kids are having fun at the beach. This poem “The Invincible Kite” just might be the grandchildren playing on the sand. I used the Rime Couee format for this poem “The Invincible Kite,” and closed it with a couplet. Just look for “The Invincible Kite” and “The Seaside Postcard” under the “Poems/Summertime” tab.
