While summer winds down, there is one September holiday that brings the season to a close. This poem “Labor Day” is only the third new poem I posted so far this year. Although Labor Day is an American holiday, I wrote it in an Irish format called “Cro cumaisc etir casbairdni ocus lethrannaigecht.” Whether I got the rules right I don’t know, but I did my best.
