Many of the Christmas poems I wrote and posted on this blog were fictional, but not this new one called “My Christmas Task.” I originally drafted this poem in another style, but the Minute format seemed to work best for the story I wanted to tell about “My Christmas Task” as a child and unbelievably it still is my favorite chore.
