I was glad I could see the eclipse, though I wasn’t completely in the totality area. As an admirer for the stars and humanity, I found it breathtaking. This poem called “A Great Celestial Awakening,” is my version of a Rondeau format. My goal was to describe the eclipse in my own eyes (with eclipse glasses) so I could put it down in pen and paper for the world to see. Just look for the poem under the “Poems/Astronomy” tab.
