The Christmas Village

Sledded with my pet

Then in the house wet

With gloves

How could I forget

That little train set

I loved

It was then I met

The village quartet

Decorated tree

That made me happy

To play

The village wintry

Stated God’s decree

The figures to see

Held the magic key

Lighted village glow

That brightened the snow

In time

When I had tiptoed

And heard “ho-ho-ho”

Words rhymed

Then the gazebo’s

From life long ago

Bells chimed
