When Eastertide comes near
The darkness of winter will disappear
A song of birds dancing with delight
Fireflies illuminate the harshness
Of a white and frigid winter’s night
A dawning of praise waits the spring
It will be the day when all that flies sing
God sends nature from afar with his hands
That has all been well defined
Of nature so surreal and planned
A winter night will be gone I hope so
Then will come a day
When the flowers of our hearts will grow
So come on spring don’t hide
Bring your blessings with a tide
I won’t let a day of glorious weather pass me by
