When the dark clouds roll in the thunder
And you pass precious time and wonder
About the azure skies the hailstorm hides
And how your confidence fell under
But you need to glimmer when rain pours
And count blessings like ever before
The world is great if you take time to wait
You never know what life has in store
So as you watch the raindrops that fall
Give yourself a hard push and stand tall
It doesn’t pay to wish it all away
That was not what God wanted at all
The best thing is to glow like the sun
Even if your dreams haven’t begun
See the storm clear and a rainbow appear
Your rare horizon of unison
