I find peace on a sunny day
And in the mist of rain
I read it in a book I was given
And in the poetry, I’ve written
I see it on a joyful child’s face
And in a pet that can’t be replaced
I feel it when life makes me glad
And in times that aren’t so bad
I need it when my world is cold
And to help make my dreams unfold
But I get lost finding that peace
Until I realize that after all
Heaven’s glory lies above me
