No matter where we are in our life, there is always something to write about, if we allow ourselves to believe. I’ve always loved birds, though I am not an avid bird watcher, but in this poem “Like a Bird” I use this animal as a metaphor for inspiration. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all take off towards the sky? Then again, we are human, and as artists there is more to us than any other living creature on this planet.
