As a poet I am inspired by nature and many of my poems featured on this blog carry that theme. The idea for this poem “The Dragonfly” came about when I realized how dragonflies appeared everywhere. I used the Rispetto format for this poem. It may be short and surprising, but it holds truth to insects and the cycles of their lives. The poem can be found under the “Poems/Summetime” tab.
