Art strikes my imagination
No matter the form or creation
Because art helps me see
Through a world that is deceived
By all its violence and hunger
Art gives me a chance to wonder
Every painting or sculpture has a theme
How any texture entails a scene
That can somehow be put into words
A story for all the world to be heard
You see as a poet I am one of many
But as a person of great faith
I am a small part of humanity
