Our World is a Canvas: Remembering Art Poetry Recordings

Whenever I am outside, I believe, our world is a canvas and that we are inside God’s painting, his universe that he created for us. That is why I love art and I appreciate every artists’ talent on this planet. A year ago I recorded three poems about art on this blog called “A Chance to Wonder,” “Colors of Hope,” and “Visualizing a World of Candy.” Just look for these poems with my audio under the “Poems/Art” tab.

Rise and Bloom Again: Remembering Easter and Spring Poetry Recordings

In the spring, the holiday of Jesus’ resurrection awaits us and the flowers have woken up to longer days. A year ago I recorded four of my favorite poems about Easter and spring featured on my blog.  I have no new ones to add, but these poems sure should bring some peace and sunshine to your life. They are called, “The Easter Dream,” “Eastertide,” “Glow on a Rainy Day,” and “The Wilted Flower.” Just look for the poems and my recordings under the “Poems/Easter & Spring” tab.

Holding on to the Magic: Remembering St Patrick’s Day Poetry Recordings

Rainbows, magic, and luck is what most of us think, when St Patrick’s Day arrives every March. That was my intention last year when I wrote and recorded these three poems about this Irish holiday called “A Storm’s Blessing,” “Like Magic” and “There No Such Thing as Luck.” This year I have no new St Patrick’s Day poems or recordings to add, but I am proud of what I accomplished so far.  Just look for these three poems under the “Poems/ St Patrick’s Day” tab.

Cupid is Back: Remembering St Valentine’s Day Poetry Recordings

Love is in the air again with St Valentine’s Day this month. A year ago I recorded three of my poems about this romantic day. Unfortunately I have not written or recorded any new poems for St Valentine’s Day, so hopefully you will remember and embrace these three poems called “The Valentine’s Day Card,” “This Word Called Love,” and “Without a Heart.”  Just look for my poems and recordings under the “Poems/St Valentine’s Day” tab

Dan’s Torch

Since the Superbowl is coming up, I thought I would post and record my poem about football on this website.  The poem called “Dan’s Torch,” is about a boy who wishes to play football, but is seemingly cast down, until he finds his way in the end.  “Dan’s Torch” was written in a Welsh format called Awdl Gywydd and can be found along with my audio under the “Poems/Inspirational” tab.

Change of Heart: More Recorded Poems of Inspiration

I know in my New Year’s post, I stated I would not be recording anymore poems, but an idea came along and I couldn’t surpass it. Among my collection, I found a few poems about putting yourself up for a challenge whether an athlete or the human spirit.  These three poems are called “Dan’s Torch,” “Good Sportsmanship,” and “The Wind of Time.”  Just look for the poems and my recordings under the “Poems/Inspirational” tab.

Recorded Poems of New Year’s

It was a year ago when I mentioned I would not be posting any new poetry on my blog, though I managed to add in seven. Then I started to post monthly/bi-monthly recordings from various categories on my blog and this New Year’s recordings will be my last. I can only see so far into the future, but I know it will be bright. These New Year’s poems are called “The Break of Midnight,” “Happy New Year,” “New Year’s Resolution” and “Someday in the Future.” All four poems with recordings can be found under the “Poems/New Year’s” tab.

Someday in the Future

Now that I have posted, which might be my last new poem on my blog and the final recording, “Someday in the Future,” I hope to be published ”someday”, other than this website.  This poem called “Someday in the Future,” was written in the Echo Verse format.  Another poem I have written and recorded in this format is called “This Word Called Love,” which can be found under the “Poems/St Valentine’s Day” tab. “Someday in the Future” can be found under the “Poems/New Year’s” tab.

Recorded Poems of Christmas

Out of all the recordings I have posted this year, this so-called Christmas list of poems is the largest I have accomplished. These poems are called “The American Holiday Feast,” “A Christmas Message,” “The Christmas Plea,” “The Christmas Stocking,” ‘The Christmas Village,” ‘My Christmas Task,” and “Our Gingerbread House.” All these poems with recordings can be found under the “Poems/Christmas & Winter,” tab, in exception of  “A Christmas Message,” which can be found under the “Poems/ Published Poems” tab.
